Courtney Orlando is a Urban/Soul artist, songwriter and Grammy award-winning producer.

As a Saint Louis native (home of artists Nelly, Metro Boomin, Michael McDonald, SZA, Chingy and more) Courtney Orlando (FKA J.R.) made his stamp in the music industry in 2013 when brought the city his first Grammy win for his work on hip-hop artist Lecrae’s Gravity. He also made headlines when he released the soulful ballad Brother Song after the killing of local native Michael Brown in 2014.

Fresh off the cuffs of a 6 year battle with depression, Courtney Orlando aims to capture the listener’s ear and heart by walking them through his journey to mental health in this new body of workThings Below (late 2020).
